Hectic Times
My mom's visit is over. It was good. We hit the International Spy Museum in D.C., some spots in Baltimore, and I trudged through the Maryland Sheep and Wool Festival with her and M. Alpacas are pretty neat. The Spy Museum was awesome, much larger than I thought it would be, with spy and espionage stuff from ancient history up to the modern day. Very good stuff...glove guns, guns hidden in cigarette packs, tiny radios, and great stories. The gift shop was also pretty cool, I spent too much. All in all, we did some pretty cool stuff. It's always good to be with family.
Classes have been going well. Nothing lower than an 88% on exams so far, but it's getting a little tougher. It's good continuing my education, but not neccesarily easy. I suppose it isn't supposed to be. I'm just about done with the computer classes for this semester, still got english to go.
Other than that, Search and Rescue season starts here this weekend, the time of year where we get the most cases. Fun fun fun. Busy times are here, so less time for studies. At any rate, got a few months of this before normalcy returns, but it will go by fast, so that's cool.
That's about all I have for now, I'll try to post more often for those of you who still read this stuff. I'll try to have more to say too...feel kind of drained at the moment. Go see X-Men 3...good flick, although I'm still not sure if it was better, equal, or not as good as the first two. Still good stuff.
