Post-Seattle

Back in B-more now, seattle was good. I have options for employment should I leave the USCG, and I had fun and saw most of the people I wanted to hang with. Probably spent more than I intended too, but oh well.

I got restless one night and decided to hit the Fenix Underground, a club I haven't been to in a few years...the earthquake in 2002 closed down it's old location permanently, and the new location is pretty cool. I caught the Burning Hearts Burlesque show, which was pretty awesome...I recommend checking one out if there is one near you.

A girl walked by me there to get a beer, and I thought she looked familiar, so I asked her if she was on G4TV. Sure enough, it was Laura Foy from the afore mentioned (now, sadly, cancelled) show. Interesting coincidence considering one of the many reasons I was in Seattle was to look into the video game industry. Helped her out with the fact that one of her friends didn't beleive she was on TV, got her autograph, and talked games and such for a little while. Pretty cool stuff, not every day you randomly run into someone from TV, and she was cool too.

Since then just getting back into the work thing, reading comics, the usual shiznit. Looking into finally finishing a degree, but probably just an associates for now.

At the very least, my batteries seem recharged again...I always feel like that after a trip home.
