Status: Arrival

Made it to Baltimore a couple weeks ago (doesnt seem like that long), but my stuff is still in storage. I'll let you know more when I get it, just wanted to say I made it. Road trip complete. More later.

Farewell, Louisiana

So in a few short days the movers will come and take the vast majority of my stuff. In about a week and a half I drive with the M-Tron and some bare essentials up to Baltimore, Maryland, my new home for a few years where I have a place ready and waiting now and an SDO cookout to attend, which should be good as I have heard great things about the Apok's cooking.

In the meantime, I would like to thank those who have made my stay in Louisiana memorable: Daniella, Alex, Mathias and the other German exchange med students for being my first real friends in New Orleans and for many good times; Denise and Billy for coming down from Seattle to visit and party in the French Quarter with me for a weekend; Dave for getting me into Tae Kwon Do (however briefly) and many good times at work; Wolf Shaman for many fun romps in New Orleans and helping keep me sane at work; Bob and Etain for coming along on many of the more recent trips to the quarter and tea and sandwiches at the Demitasse; my girl M-Tron for moving down here to be with me and being altogether awesome (looking forward to many more good years!); OSC/CWO for many interesting discussions on samurai and the demonstration of how sharp a katana should be; and finally everyone else I work with or have hung out with down here...fun times were had often and by many. Hopefully I'll see you all again in the future.

At any rate, it's back off to packing, the last few days with PS2 and GameCube, and a week with only books and a GBA SP for me. Next update will probably be from Baltimore, so see ya in a few.
