Up and down, thats how my life is right now.
Let's cover the ups first. I went to the
Domination Tour on Tuesday, and it was awesome. First up was Manufactura, which was cool, then Christ Analogue played a great set. Sister Machine Gun came on last and kicked ass. The show was at the Lounge Lizards club in New Orleans, which is small but really cool with a great staff.
Unfortunately, there is also the down part. I went to get some uniforms dry cleaned today as we have an inspection coming up, and my car shit out on me. I don't know how it happened, but when I turned on the car the coolant hose somehow got caught
(still attached at both ends) in the fan belt wheels, which also popped the fan belt off and tore the coolant hose almost in half. I manage to hook up a tow truck, but we don't get to the garage until 30 minutes before they close, so even tho the guy said it should be really easy and quick to fix, there was no time tonight, but it would be first for the morning. So I decide I might as well see if I need new tires too, and head to work...with almost no sleep. I am here for 12 hours and then right back to the garage, and hopefully it won't take more than a couple hours.
I have become increasingly paranoid lately about random crap, which makes this worse. Now I will probably be worried that something else is wrong with it, as I usually am after something breaks...even tho 9 out of 10 times that isn't the case. But oh well, we all knew I was going insane anyways.
And on another high note, the forums have really picked up...lots of new posts. Check them out or something.
UPDATE (June 5th): never mind...ended up being almost two grand to fix the car. And yes, I am paranoid...which doesnt go well with the roads down here that never get fixed and are bumpy as hell, or with the fact that there is random debris all over them, so I heard things hitting the undercarriage of my car at least twice on my way to work from the garage. It also doesnt help that I got almost no sleep, but at least tomorrow I can crash out hardcore, and I have the next two weeks or so off. So as long as I am imagining things and nothing else is wrong with my car, the foreseeable immediate future looks good...especially with my girl coming down in a couple days.
