So I've been back in Louisiana for a week now. Mostly in that time I have worked. My cel phone started choking out it's last death rattle, so I went and picked up a new one with web enabled, which is a feature I doubt I will ever use...who wants to check the web on a 1 inch by 1 inch screen? Actually it has a LOT of features I will probably never use, but oh well...it's a nice phone.

Been playing FFXI as well, trying to see if I can salvage any fun out of it, and the jury is still out on that. Mostly I have been messing with some other jobs, like Thief and Monk, but so far it hasn't been boring enough to quit playing or fun enough for me to decide to continue my subscription, so who knows. Other games sit both on my shelves and on some game store shelves, beckoning to me...and more will be coming soon. FFXI is cool, but I'm not sure it is cool enough to neglect other games for, especially not by early next year when Destroy All Humans and Dead Rush come out...oh those games have me drooling.

Other than that I've just been watching some Invader Zim on DVD and reading some Junji Ito horror manga, so good stuff there. Keeps my mind off of how much I miss Seattle and all my friends and family there, and how uneventful my life is in Louisiana. At least I have the Sister Machine Gun tour to look forward to in New Orleans next week, so that should be pretty cool.

Later yo.

Well, it's been a great two weeks, but it is almost time to go home. The last few days always suck a bit though, because you know you are saying goodbye again for awhile. I look around at all these places that bring back old memories...the spot where cops took my fireworks because I set the garbage can in the park on fire, the other places I almost burned down with silly fireworks tricks (yes, I used to be a bit of a pyro, but I have learned much about fire since then), spots I hung out with friends and girlfriends at...and I don't want to leave. People ask when I am going back home, and it kinda seems weird to me, because this IS my home, my apartment down south is really just a cell or a hotel room as far as I am concerned. I have had fun tho, with many of my old friends and some I just met, so it's all good.

Anyways, go see Troy...awesome movie. I have no pics of my trip, because yet again I forgot my camera. You always forget to pack something...

Ok, so I'm about halfway into my trip now. It's been really great being back up in Seattle and seeing my old friends and family again. I really like just looking around too...pine trees, cool breezes, the hills, the mountains...I love this place. It's good to be back, even just for a short time.

Saw VAST play at the Chop Suey a few nights ago, which was a really good show. They play as well live as they do in the studio, and all their stuff is great. I was a bit surprised to find it so easily, as I had never heard of the Chop Suey club before, but it turned out to be a place I used to hang out in when it was called the Breakroom, so no problems. And to top it all off, I got to meet the band...which was very cool, they are all really great guys and you can tell they have fun doing the shows.

Also, I got my ass thoroughly kicked in go-kart racing against Porkfry, Tycho and Gabe from Penny Arcade, and some other people at Porkfry's birthday party. Literally I was in last place both races, as I have'nt raced a go-kart since at least 10 years ago, and I wasn't very good then. But I had loads of fun, so it was all good. The races were followed by Porkfry's famous tacos, which is always awesome. And just to clarify, these were real go-karts...not like Mario Kart video games or something.

The rest of the time has been spent relaxing with some of my other friends, my cousin, and drinking, plus trying to find the owner of a pregnant black lab that showed up on my cousins doorstep last night. The owner had been by asking about it earlier, but we hadn't seen it yet at that point and he didnt leave his name or number. Hopefully he'll turn up soon, cuz that dog is gonna have a litter VERY soon.

And thats about all I have so far. Go have fun, and enjoy yourselves or something. I'm gonna go do stuff, or maybe get my mom to watch more of the new Invader Zim DVD I picked up a few days ago. It has Irken subtitles.

First off I would like to tell you all how awesome the movie 'The Last Samurai' was. Truly great film, you must see it. As soon as you can. If you have already seen it, you know what I'm talking about.

Second, I am antsy as a motherfucker right now. I go to Seattle in a few days, and I hate waiting...I just want to get on the plane and go. I'll be updating at least once from up there, so check back for some stories of my misadventures and good times.

And when I get back I plan on trying my skills at photoshop in some new photomanipulative ways...I'll put some links here in my blog when I put new ones up. And as usual I am always open to requests...if it is something I already do like a zombification it will probably be better as I already know some tricks with that, but I can try my hand at new things as well...just let me know what you want and while I can't guarantee it will be awesome if I havent done it before, I will try my best...always good to learn new things. And no, I do not charge...I only ask that if you put it on your site you credit me as the artist (obviously) and link back to here, and I will ask if I can show it on mine too, altho if you just want me to link your site I can do that as well. It's not a requirement, I just like putting my works in my gallery. Just email your requests by clicking the email button on my main page or clicking here. I just won't be able to do any until I get back from Seattle, as I do not think I will have access to Photoshop while I am up there.

Wish me a good trip, and I'll talk at ya later!
